Description:

“Ever since that day I had stumbled upon the old shack and the hermit everything was different. Everyone I interacted with somehow received immediate justice for the way they treated me. A chill shot up my spine. This is real. This is really happening to me. This is the power that was locked inside of me.

Rylee has an unusual gift. It brings good luck to those who are kind to her and misfortune to those who are not—at least, that’s what the crazy woman in the woods tells her. Rylee doesn’t believe it at first, until strange coincidences start happening to her classmates and friends. When her mother suddenly becomes sick, she finally realizes that her gift may not be a matter of luck—but of life and death.

When Rylee encounters a mysterious old woman in the woods, she has no idea that her entire life is about to change. All of a sudden, strange coincidences start happening all around her, bringing good luck to those who are kind to her and misfortune to those who are not. But where does this new power come from, and how can Rylee learn to control it? When her mother suddenly falls ill, Rylee beings to realize that her gift may not be a matter of luck—but of life and death.
